After obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering Design, Mr. Porter began his career at Rockwell Manufacturing Company in an Engineering role and then eventually translated his experience into an International Sales role for the company. Next, in 1971, Mr. Porter accepted a Sales Engineer role from Hickman Williams Company, selling foundry products to industries within Western Pennsylvania.

In 1972, he was employed by Hughes and Wilden, Inc. as a sales recruiter where he eventually purchased the firm in 1974 and became President of the firm until 1982, when he started Porter Consulting Services, Inc.

Mr. Porter is specialized in working with many Fortune 500 firms as well as medium to small-sized firms, throughout the United States, as well as internationally. Mr. Porter has extensive background and experience working at the C-level.

Mr. Porter has affiliations with First Interview, the world’s largest network of professional recruiters. He is past-President and  Board member of the Monroeville Rotary Club and past Board Member of Lisa’s House, a shelter for abused women in Western PA

Art possesses 10 years of business-to-business sales and 15 years of sales management experience, during which time he successfully built sales organizations in cities within the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. His accomplishments include winning many top selling awards, several Manager-of-the Year awards, and finding, hiring and developing top-notch account reps who eventually won the highest sales honors for selling efforts in their particular assignments.

He has worked his way up the corporate ladder from an account rep to a Regional VP and has industry experience in digital printing, document solutions, print management and consultative cost containment programs. In addition to a business degree, Art obtained a Juris Doctor in law through the arduous evening program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

For Porter Consulting Services, Art currently specializes in placements of sales, operations and executive management positions in such diverse industries as marketing communications, printing solutions, multi-channel marketing services, financial, legal technology and office products and, as our Professional Placement Officers, in engineering, architecture, law and finance.

John brings 25 years of experience working with and for technology companies to PCS. Companies ranging in size from multibillion dollar companies such as Unisys to much smaller early stage companies such as Cerebellum Software and RedSiren have profited by his experience in sales and marketing, senior management, operations, customer service and technical support.

One of John’s core strengths has been in building successful sales teams for local companies. John is a graduate of Westminster College with a degree in Business Administration. Over the years, he has remained active with his college fraternity board and received national recognition for his volunteer work with the fraternity.

Tina joined Porter Consulting Services, Inc. in April of 2002. Tina has a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University. She brings with her 8 years of experience working at a fast-paced mutual fund organization. Her experience in Client Relationship and Employee Benefits over the last 10 years helps compliment Porter Consulting Services and their initiatives.
